On Demand Dial-in Conferencing

It couldn't be easier. When you want to make a conference call, give your (permanent) toll free number and passcode to participants and tell them when to dial. That's it. You can create unlimited conferencing IDs in one account or use the same ID again and again.

   1. We give you a conferencing ID — a toll free phone number and passcode.

   2. You give your numbers to conference participants with a time for your conference..

   3. Everyone dials in, and enters the passcode to join the conference.

No reservations - Your own ID is always ready. No scheduling with operators, no cancellation or rescheduling fees.

Domestic (toll free) or International - Each conference ID comes with a toll free number and a corresponding regular long distance number to use when dialing from outside the U.S. and Canada.

Multiple IDs and cost centers - You can have as many IDs as you want and assign cost center identifiers to each. The invoice sorts fees by cost center. Manage IDs/cost centers yourself online, or call and we'll do it for you.

Accounting Codes - This extra accounting feature asks the host to enter an account or client/matter number at the beginning of the call. Billing is then sorted by ID and accounting code.

Online live call manager - Sign in to your Civicom account and click on the ID to see who is on the call, see who's speaking, mute/ unmute or drop them. You can also add parties (dial out to them) and start a sub-conference on the fly.

Mute/unmute - Participants can use touchtone to mute and unmute themselves.

Savings - We offer a competitive rate of 15¢ per minute per party. International participants also pay their normal long distance fee to the U.S.

Optional host PINs - With this feature the conference will not begin until the host enters his PIN. This adds an extra measure of security since only the host knows the PIN. You can turn this feature on/off for an ID at any time, and the PIN is customizable.

Optional moderator/participant codes - For accessing additional features such as self administering sub-conferences, muting/unmuting all participants, etc.

Professional Service Greeting - Ask about a greeting customized to your organization; e.g., "Welcome to [your organization name] conferencing... "

Recording and transcribing - You can turn call recording on before any conference begins, or turn on recording on the call. To get the recording, sign in and click on "View Stored Recordings." Let us know if you would like a transcription.

Email Notifications - When a conference call is made, an email is automatically sent to the account holder the next morning. Also, when a recording is made, a web link is sent to the account holder.
